An Interview With Natasha Meister
We recently had a chance to sit with artist Natasha Meister about keeping positive and inspired. Here's what happened!
TSWS: We need to hear about what is inspiring your music right NOW! And any projects in the works you can tell us about?!
Natasha: Right now with the music industry at a bit of a stand still and being a rising artist in the midst of a pandemic, it's easy to lose inspiration and hope. Let's be honest, it's a difficult time for all of us. But I'm purely holding on to my sole passion and love for music to drive me these days. Drawing inspiration from my own story and personal journey as well as those around me. As far as new projects, I just finished recording and filming a Christmas medley collaboration with another great artist that will be coming out in the next few days. I'm also currently working on a brand new original pop single set to be released in mid Jan. It's gonna be a banger!
TSWS: What is a routine when it comes to your music that you are adamant about keeping?
Natasha: I'm adamant about staying focused, continually writing songs and polishing my skills.
TSWS: What is the most frequent question you get asked when it comes to your artistry? How do you answer?
Natasha: How long have you been doing this for? Professionally for 10+ years.
TSWS: What is making you feel positive about 2021 as an artist?
Natasha: I'm feeling positive about 2021. I'm hopeful this pandemic will clear up and that things will get back to normal. More opportunities will be available again - for live in person concerts and just to get out there without any restrictions. It will be a time of celebration and I believe the music industry and artists will thrive again!
