The Matlock Twins just dropped a 4 track EP that touches on surf rock, jazzy undertones, and indie rock all rolled up in one colorful and vibrant upswing record that showcases the young bands staple style.
The self titled EP gets into deep grooves, as keys spread out and guitars float through the ambient atmospheres of each song.
All the tracks have heart and take on a life all their own but the EP all together really goes further and feels like a great soundscape of cinematic songs performed with passion and a love for what they do.
These guys certainly feed off of each other's energy and that shines on the record.
