The Truth Council Hits it Hard With The 13 Degrees EP

The latest EP release from The Truth Council is blazing guitars, progressive riffs, and a hard rock crossover of a handful of your favorite metal bands all rolled into one massive, high octane record.
The 13 Degrees EP brings together so many levels of melodic metal and rock it's outstanding as guitar solos set fire to the songs and drums shake the ground.
These guys have some absolutely killer riffs and a tightness only an experienced band could pull off.
The EP is an edgy and sonically polished and bright one along with it's endlessly catchy vocal melodies and half time slams.
The EP consists of 4 full songs and a tasteful bass interlude.
The band gives you a Tool feeling at times, and a Motley Crue feeling others. Either way, these guys really take on such a great and powerful variety of band personas through the music it's almost a lot to take in, but goddamn is it fun to do.
We also get some Dream Theater and even Rush coming through at times with this record.
The 13 Degrees EP crushes with a blitzkrieg of amazing tracks from start to finish with one tiny breather in between.
Listening to the record really makes you want to see this band live. You can feel the energy they have bounding off of each other on the recording.
Even with an EP, you take quite a musical journey and it's all headbanging, jump up, and sing along worthy.
It is a great time to listen to a band that holds true to such a great array of rock styles all in one record and do it all gracefully.
This is one of those rare bands that wouldn;t be the same at all if even one player was missing or changed.
