Baby Schillaci Drops A Brand-New Banger
A brand new track from Baby Schillaci gives off a vivacious and outside-the-box rock approach by combining classic punk rock, garage rock, and elements of slightly experimental time signatures and vocal approaches and it all comes together to create this Punchy, endlessly fun, and edgy atmosphere.
"The Anti Suncream League" hits of variety of energy levels but they're all pretty high octane which includes this riff that just thrashes out with a sort of wild tone so that the whole song has this crazy drive to it that, in combination with the vocals and everything else gives the song an element of lunacy in a way.
This is something you rarely get so when you come across it it is amazing. These guys really nailed this creative aesthetic by combining influences together and making something that hits all the sweet spots that you can ask for.
The roof is amazing, the drumming is one of the biggest elements of the track, they give it so much life and the base adds the perfect rumble that it needs to come across with a little bit of underlying aggression.
For me, the vocals are my favorite attribute to this track simply because the way they performed has this unique sort of looseness but tightness to them where at times they're double or triple-layered and they're done in a way that has that classic sort of garage rock feel to it so things are not ultra tight but tight enough to make sense.
Now, I have to mention that one of my favorite bands on the planet is a band called Mclusky. Who I recently heard is actually coming out with a new album after years and years.
These guys make me think of them because of how the vocals are performed especially.
This band delivers such a blitzkrieg of sound that pushes a major sonic drive the entire time and never lets up energy-wise to the point where it feels like this was recorded live so everyone was just right there feeding off of each other.
There's something about this song that gets your blood pumping and you can kind of feel that the longer you listen to it.
Again, they do combine these classic influences and I feel like the way they brought all of it together was a big part of the unique and stand out elements of this track in particular.
After I listened to this track I went to their Spotify and dug into a couple of other ones.
There were a few others there each with slightly different tones and elements that drove the songs.
If you like this track you're going to love the rest of their songs and this is certainly a man that I will be keeping an eye on from here on out because I love this kind of stuff.
If you like hard-hitting, wild, rock music that doesn't conform to any kind of particular genre or cookie-cutter approach then these guys are 100% for you.
Check this out as soon as you can and definitely turn it up. Trust me.
