Bernardine Reimagines Her Single With An Acoustic Re-Mix

Bernardine just released a completely different version of her single "22" and in true unplugged format, the song has the full cinematic treatment with violin, clean guitars, and a balanced and sultry vocal performance.
The track is a wonderful rendition and reimagining of her original version which boasts a much more radio pop sound.
The "22 (Acoustic Remix)" single really shines in a totally different way.
You can pay more attention to the lyrics and the whole thing feels a little more warm.
This is a letter to someone. "Did you forget the promise that I made when I was 22?" is clear and you can hear some heartbreak in this version.
The layers are peeled back more and you can engulf yourself in the song and close your eyes as the music swims around you.
The acoustic version is quite breathtaking and can cause you to bring up emotions and even memories when you least expect it.
The new sound of the single gives a one on one in room performance style and the aesthetic is nailed.
This song floats and makes you float along with it. You get washed away with its chorus and have to almost snap out of it when it ends.
The remix shows a new side of Bernadine that was actually there the whole time. This brings the undertones of the original track to the forefront and changes the approach to something even more relatable and alluring.
We may even like this version better!
But that's for you to decide really as we did an interview with Bernardine for her original release of "22" and you can read that here as well as watch her video for the song.
The new video is a lyric video which also pushes more towards the point of paying attention to what she is saying inthe song.
That video is below to watch.
