Blooming Fire Drops A Visual EP

2597-blooming1.jpg

We had a chat with Blooming Fire about their up coming Visual EP dubbed Dunia.

TSWS: Thank you for taking this interview Blooming Fire! We hear there's an upcoming visual EP that you're going to drop. Can you give us some inside info on it?

Thank you for having us! Yes, our upcoming Dunia Visual EP drops on Friday July 30th! It’s a 4 song music video of our last release Dunia that will come out as one piece. We never created any visuals for the last release and since we still have some time before our new music drops we wanted to give our fans something new to look forward to and this visual EP is jam packed with goodness.

TSWS: Were there any challenges with the making of it?

Yes, plenty of challenges, the biggest one behind time. We’re doing music full time alongside working regular jobs and Ian on hip hop and lead vocals has a serious shoulder surgery coming up  so we had to really get down and dirty with the planning and time management. It’s always a huge task to get people involved when you're an independent artist. We’re working with a low budget ourselves and yet other artists and creatives expect us to pay them such high rates, so financially it’s always the biggest feat. In order to combat spending an insane amount of money on a project this big we filmed most of it DIY, in nature and in secret locations we knew we could get away with. We used the cameras we already owned and asked friends to come out and be a part of it. We feel lucky to have had the help we have, especially during such weird times.

TSWS: What was the best part of creating your new piece of work?

The best part is watching it all come together, it started off as this giant idea, lots of moving parts and a really wild storyline. Seeing us tackle a list of scenes and locations over the course of two months while working regular jobs and trying to get our demos done for the new music has been a race against time as we approach Ian’s surgery and it makes it that much more rewarding because we’re all in it together busting our butts to create something badass!

TSWS: Any nerves for its release?

Not really, we just hope as many people get to see it as possible.

TSWS: Has anyone listened to the new music outside of the band yet?

As for the new music, yes a couple producers we're considering and a couple family members but not many.

TSWS: What is the vibe overall for the new music?

Soul hop.

TSWS: How would you describe the energy you want to release in 2021?

Unyielding positivity while keeping it real af.

TSWS: What kind of career goal is in the works right now?

Right now we’re working towards touring full time and connecting with more and more people.

TSWS: What is your projection for yourselves personally that you want to make happen aside from music?

To achieve a higher level of self confidence, empowerment and to gain better control of our emotional response for different situations.

TSWS: Can you share how our audience can support the causes that are closest to your heart and why it's what you chose as your lives work?
