Here is some info on Bow & Spear:
Bow & Spear was formed in 2012 in Chicago by drummer John Bergman and singer/guitarist David Ritter, the band’s only permanent members. Joined in 2015 by lead guitarist Tyler Ryssemus at the time its debut LP “Into” was released, Bow & Spear has earned a devoted following in Chicago and the Midwest by blending the dispassion of grunge with shoegaze guitars and punk ferocity, and by relentlessly gigging out of a derelict 1984 conversion van. Their forthcoming EP, “Way Vivid,” is the band’s most sonically mature release to date, which was recorded largely by the band itself while locked down during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The record is released via Triple Hammer Records and you can listen on Bandcamp, Spotify and check the band's Insta for more!
