Breaking The undertow Releases "Riffage"

Breaking The Undertow comes back once again with another rock banger but this time it's got a little extra edge and a screamo feel with anthemic choruses and writhing emotional cimaxes.
"Riffage" has hardcore infuences but brings up bands like Brand New, Coheed and Cambria, and more.
The song is heavy in a moldic and tasteful way and comes with some badass riffage. See what we did there?
Seriously this track has some amazing changes from dark to light and back again all with this powerful and almost uplifting inspiration that bursts through.
The darks are dark but that light is always lining the edges of the track.
High pitched screaming accompanied by memorable vocal hooks and some unexpected but pleasurable guitar parts is something that Breaking The Undertow sticks to and that formula proves strong for the songs.
We've had the pleasure of reviewing and talking with songwriter Trevor Heaslip, the mind behind the music. Trevor takes his time to put these songs together and takes the helm on just about everything you hear.
The crazy thing is, he releases these songs every few months at a time and each time you're surprised by how different, but how gracefully heavy handed they are and how easily they get in your head.
"Riffage" has a stomping kick drum and a very hard hitting feel that also keeps to that radio friendliness that is usually a part of the appeal of Breaking The Undertow.
Most songs are great for so many lovers of heavy, melodic, alternative music especially that it crosses borders without a hitch.
"Riffage" is a major part of that.
