Breath of Illusions
If you're not too familiar with the musical stylings of Breath of Illusions just yet, then let us be among the first to introduce you to the project since a new release was just dropped that features a plethora of polished but heartfelt guitar performances and a set of songs that take you for many musical journeys each bearing its own tone and approach.
Upon listening to The Awakening, I was flooded with outstanding riffs and lead guitar work that ranged from rock but also had different genres encompassed within that as well like a soft jazz approach, and more at times.
The record is very alternative rock based but also utilizes elements of classic and old-school metal at times, especially with thick guitar harmonies and melodies that travel through songs giving them different feels as you listen.
With this record breath of Illusions was able to capture some very passionate guitar performances and the songs themselves were written with a lot of attention to the details so that the production came out clean and tight but also with heart.
