Clear Brings Some Outstanding Rock Sounds With Zeitpunkt

The latest release from Clear is a fuzz garage rock record with blasting energy and boasts surf undertones, blends indie-pop, and comes with an array of colorful sounds that feed into your inner youth.
The Zeitpunkt EP has both face melters and a desert grunge feel as it unravels and you start hearing its many layers.
The record has a certain ambience that feels distant and fun as guitars fill the air around you and vocals flow seamlessly with a chorus effect that feels watery and refreshing.
The songs aren't without their experimental and psychedelic sounds as well and by the time it's all ended you've rocked out, floated on, and spaced out.
It's like Bowie meets the Yeah Yeah Yeah's meets Queens of The Stone Age and throws in a touch of The Melvins for fun.
These guys have a crazy gusto and a knack for melodic rock that creates progressions that stick with you and take you away to their world.
That's what this record is. It's an example of their own personal world and you're invited to jump in with them.
The EP has such a wonderful variety of sound and melodies, tones and styles, that it all comes together just right.
Some of the record comes off dreamy as well and the guitar hooks are as compelling as the vocal hooks most of the time.
Each track comes with surprises and has something fresh to offer which is really nice to hear.
Zeitpunkt feels like a record you grew up with and have an attachment to already. It's familiar and comfortable while being slightly outlandish and incredibly fun to crank loud.
Clear has discovered their sound and are paving their own way in the rock arena and we think it's a great thing to see and hear.
