DJ M (Mark Hickling) brings the heart of the UK’s electronic scene to America, where he now creates music from the scenic city of Mount Pocono, PA. Starting his journey in England, DJ M developed a love for electronic, trance, EDM, and club dance music, with an early career in notable venues like New Jersey’s Paradise nightclub, owned by Shep Pettibone, who also inspired his music production path.
"My journey started in England, where I first got into DJing and electronic music. I was drawn to the energy of the crowd and the creativity of mixing tracks. Over time, that led me to producing my own music — crafting sounds that could move people the same way live DJ sets do. It’s been a long journey of experimenting, learning, and combining influences from both the UK and US dance scenes to create my own signature sound," says Mark.
DJ M has since released dynamic tracks like “The Connection” with Mojoheadz Records and “Jump, I’m Ready to Fly” with Regroup Records, receiving international recognition in competitions such as the Another Rhythm Records World Cup remix and an Atlas Elite Entertainment Award nomination.
"I’m always listening to A State of Trance, following Armin van Buuren’s weekly YouTube shows, and using that inspiration to fuel my own music. On this release, people can expect a high-energy journey, a driving beat, layered instrumentation, and atmospheric elements designed to make you move, feel, and get lost in the music," explains Mark.
