Elektryk Bestia Gives Us A Rock Banger
A new single release from Elektryk Bestia delivers a fuzz tone and thriving rock banger that goes through a few different phases as it plays through and each phase is a different level of energy and character.
"Warriors Dance" wastes no time grabbing your attention with a great riff that feels like it was inspired by classic rock and breeds a little bit of a garage rock tonality especially with the distortion and tone used.
There's something about this track that feels almost cinematic to an extent because of this sort of vastness in its undertone and throughout that main riff you also get these notes that are held out and float through the ether of the track giving it a slight haunt.
The drumming is outstanding and really breathes life into this track giving it the feel of a live performance where the players are feeding off of each other the entire time.
Once you get through this big chunk in the beginning of the track it kind of settles down and calms into a light version and the guitars become cleaner giving the song a more floaty and dreamy approach where the keys change tonality as well and the whole vibe of everything kind of kicks back a little bit.
This is where it gets fun and experimental showing colors and psychedelic undertones that shine through and add depth to the song.
I love the synths and the keys used here because they add these great layers and blend textures super well.
This of course is the calm before the storm because just after it, a massive explosion of Sonic drive comes in where the guitars are doubled and huge bringing in an edgy rock feel and this is also where the vocals come in.
There's something about this whole track that has a little bit of a haunting vibe actually and I like that it keeps to this slightly gothic aesthetic and a weird way.
You still get lots of great experimental guitar work throughout this as well even during the really big explosive heavy sections you have some great effects on the main guitars and also some delayed guitars that come in and out which really helped create this sort of atmosphere.
I think this is part of why I enjoyed this song so much. It's like an escape and it takes you to a different place for a little chunk of time and that place has these different phases that you go through until you reach the end and I thoroughly enjoyed this little musical journey.
This track was done with a lot of attention to detail but it still had this lush soundscape in this character that's attached to it that never really goes away.
When the tracks over you sort of have to snap yourself back into reality again and I can't even remember the last time that's happened.
This was packed with a vivaciousness and an attention to arrangement so that the song feels like it's alive and breathing in its own way.
Track but it also has a liveliness to it and could pass for a grunge or classic rock banger anytime because it blends those two genres nearly perfectly.
Check this track out as soon as you can and don't be afraid to turn it nice and loud because that's the best way to listen to it.
See how this one affects you.
