Ellie's vocals are always the thing that pull you in and keep you there. The song explodes in a massive indie-pop soundscape and all with an incredibly catchy vocal melody.
The song keeps you floating and whisks you away to her world as the song surrounds you and showcases a powerful edge while remaining cinematic and smooth.
A killer combination of natural and digital instrumentation, live guitars, synth pads and more just create a sonic tonality that's hard to turn away from.
This is a gorgeous track that somehow feels empowering at times as it swells and sways musically.
You can feel the natural talent Ellie holds and utilizes with her heartfelt performance.
Like we mentioned, this isn't her first rodeo. Her previous single "Sigh" is a much more stripped down acoustic singer-songwriter style tune that still tugs at the heartstrings easily. But you can certainly hear her evolution in songwriting as the songs go on.
