A new, very robust and cinematic powerhouse of release from eMiArtz just dropped, and this thing, with no time whatsoever, delivers these impactful tones and heavy-handed beats, ever-changing and evolving, wrapping themselves around you, and paving the path for your imagination.

The Instrumentals V1.0 EP starts with a track called "Gospel", which really comes in with an amazing tone as there is an actual gospel set of vocals that are coming through delivering super soulful melodies while you have this beat that starts like a sort of a classic hip-hop style, but then grows into a boom bap kind of style and I really loved how intense the track feels when you're listening to it with headphones.

This track is an amazing demonstration of how instrumental music can impact you when you're in the right state of mind, or even how this kind of music can change your state of mind.

This track has power behind it. When you listen to it, you feel like you can take on just about anything. It gives you a sense of spirited empowerment that, because of the Gospel tones and vocals, feels like it's almost spiritual itself.

I love the colors and textures combined between the pianos, vocals, and beats. This all comes together seamlessly and really has a boisterous and unforgettable aesthetic to it.

This is followed by a track called "IMF", which incorporates all kinds of different samples, guitars, and has an almost southern tonality. The beat has a sort of swing rhythm to it, which becomes addictive very quickly.

By this point in the record, you begin to realize that the producer behind this whole thing is influenced by vintage tonality.

The way he's able to bring different genres and super old-school samples into the mix, giving you this warm feel, and then blending them with updated beats, danceable rhythms, and approaches, is brilliant.

It really makes you wonder about how it's all put together.

It just proves the point that some people hear music differently than others. If I heard the guitars on this track, I would have never imagined this kind of beat or the almost hip-hop incorporation with it.

This was built with fewer boundaries than you may be used to, and you're going to dig it.

The third and final track on the record is the most heavy-handed of them all. It's cold "Kindergarten", and brings together a lot of the piano work with a beat that has some depth to it, and some edgy synthesizers.

The track starts with a bit of a slower pace, almost like it's halftime, and then a little while into the track, it goes double time, kicking up the pace of the song along with bringing in new synths and keys to freshen it up and change the game.

After that, it goes back down to how it started with a half-time beat, and I love how it goes back and forth this way. When it kicks into the full-time beat, it adds a lot of drive to the track.

When it's at the halftime state, it hits with a deeper pocket and just feels heavier.

This whole EP was immensely fun, and I love how each of the songs feels like they go together. Each of the songs compliment each other in a way, and listening to the full EP is the best way to go here.

If you only have time to listen to one track, I would suggest "Gospel", but this full EP definitely showcases a lot of branching out and imaginative approach to creating atmospheres, come beats, sound-sculpting, and making music with no walls built around it.

These tracks all have a heft to them, and I really dig listening to them loud.

I think that you will feel the same, so dive into this one now and don't be afraid to turn it up or listen with headphones.

If you're a fan of robust, cinematic beats, don't miss this record.
