Francis V Returns With an Uplifting Single
Francis V returns with the new single that breeds a warm and welcoming soundscape as this subtly colorful and embracing piece of music utilizes a series of string and synth pads that build in an almost orchestral undertone and the whole thing has touches of inspiration flowing through its veins.
"Finding Yourself in a Better Place" is a beautiful song that has grace in its performance and build.
The tones and textures used on this track bring together a refreshing and ethereal approach with an almost vintage pop subtlety and it all works in such a way that you do indeed feel uplifted when you listen to it.
There are elements of experimental synths and keys used as well and this percussion element that builds throughout the track along with everything else giving it the almost natural flow of waves rolling in from the ocean.
One of the things I love about this track is how multiple musical hooks come together and are performed by layers of keys in different sounds so you have these sort of balanced sounds performing memorable sections along with the orchestrated and cinematic feel then everything else is doing at the same time.
The way those pads are used is genius because they seem to get brighter as the song picks up and as the percussion builds bigger.
The arrangement as a whole is extremely well done and gives the song such a strangely calming effect so that when you listen to it not only does it feel good but it gives you a strange sense of peace and I love that aspect about it because it's been a long time since a piece of music let me feel at ease the way that this one does.
It's got this essence that everything's going to be okay and I think that a lot of us can use that kind of music.
This is a brilliantly performed instrumental piece that combines a series of different styles and approaches and rolls them into one track so that you have something rounded and full-bodied in the end.
This was a beautiful and lush piece that ended up setting the tone for my entire day so it's one of those things that I would suggest listening to first thing in the morning.
The fact that this is an instrumental piece and speaks such volumes in terms of emotion and spirit is outstanding because a lot of artists have a hard enough time pulling that off with songs that have lyrics meanwhile this piece speaks for itself.
There's this little hint of a glittery undertone so that the song sort of has a Sparkle and glimmer to it and that also feels really good.
I definitely really enjoyed the choice of synth and key sounds used on this track and the way that they are layered and melted together to create one piece.
This is why I feel like it's composed almost like an orchestra would be and it certainly feels that way when you listen to it only it's done with digital instrumentation.
Because it is instrumental, it lets you have a little space for your mind to run free and the song can cause vivid pictures or scenarios, even memories to pop into your head.
These are the kinds of things that make music connective and this song definitely creates a connective personality so that you're able to relate to it and that is all caused by the emotion that the music and Melodies bring on.
I'm going to give this track a nine out of 10 simply because the arrangement is done with such beautiful attention to detail but still performed with this emotion and built with the aim of giving you a certain feeling in the end and it accomplishes all of that.
