A Beautiful And Captivating Album From Frank Joshua
Frank Joshua just dropped a full length album that carries some outstanding pop in different forms and in doing so brings touches of nostalgic alt-pop and plenty more with it.
The Sense Life album is riddled with some awesome guitar and synth work ato go along with vibrant and colorful textures and vocals that all come together to create an atmosphere that breeds its own form of music all together.
You get ambient and soft ballads, windy and swirling guitars that float through the ether of songs, and tracks that completely engulf you.
But even those have their pop elements that make it so hooky and addictive it's crazy.
The songs flow together and have this way of becoming quickly infectious and stocking in your brain for hours on end.
There are aspects of this release that make it feel almost like a concept album and there are plenty of little surprises along the way through its course.
Cinematic piano pieces with strings and lush feels, to songs that feel like much more of a dance influence, you get a massive array of instrumentation, songwriting styles, and a wonderful palette of vivid and picturesque artistry on this one.
Songs get uplifting and anthemic but still have their softer edge that keeps them in just the right place energy wise.
There is a ton to soak in with this release and we suggest you do it in the car for a good drive, or with headphones on.
Either way you get sort of taken away into another world and it feels great to let that happen the way it was meant to.
Take a dive into this record when you can. There are more than a few singles well worth your time and playlists to say the least.
