Garlic Party & Willdabeast Deliver A Great Time

A new release from Garlic Party and Willdabeast delivers a massively danceable and fun funk and pop Soiree that blends a magnitude of genres in its undertone and by doing so creates something with very few walls built around it which gives it a sort of freeing feeling in its own way.
"Killa" (ft. Brotha Nature) certainly takes off and grabs your attention right from the get-go with some outstanding production and a lush string of instrumentation that creates an atmosphere that you don't want to leave.
Everything from the bass, synths and keys, vocals, percussion, and a ton of other instrumentation, all have electric energy and it bears resemblance to the feeling you'd get seeing a live performance.
This is super impressive because to capture this kind of energy on record is a rarity so when I first heard this it was incredibly invigorating which is the kind of thing that becomes infectious because that energy and that color and vivaciousness really sticks with you and gets into your bones.
If there was ever a track that will make you want to dance no matter what's going on and where you are, it's this one.
Everything about this has the sort of funk undertone and that hits pretty hard but also gives it an additional drive.
This thing has hip-hop, electro-pop, funk, jazz, and so much more all infused within its existence of only about 5 minutes so there are a lot of layers to soak in but it feels amazing to do just that.
This was one of the more eclectic but well-put-together songs I've heard in such a long time because you can tell everyone involved is just feeding off of each other the entire time. All those energies are just bleeding into each other and creating this massive atmosphere and it's something that sticks with you for hours after the song has ended.
The only way to satiate it is to listen to the song again and I feel like that's not only smart songwriting, but can only come from a group of people who have a pure love for what they're doing in their craft.
The fact that these artists, performers, and players came together to write something so memorable and so vibrant, is outstanding.
You get such an array of, not only old and new school vibes musically, but cultures as well.
This is interesting because it's been so long since I've heard a song that actually came through sounding so cultured.
You have these horn sections, electro beats, funktified bass lines, and so much just hitting you with such a great punch and a great attitude that you will be shaking your butt in your seat, dancing around your living room, or jumping up and down with your hands in the air in no time flat.
This was memorable, invasively fun, and everything complemented everything else.
That bass tone complemented the horns which complemented the vocals and so on.
After listening to the song a few times I came to the conclusion that I would absolutely love to go see it live in person. But, as I mentioned earlier, listening to it here is almost just as good because that energy is electric the entire time.
There's also such a great balance dynamically and instrumentally so everything comes through crystal clear but with a bounce.
It feels like listening to a party. A good party with culture, class, and a freeing sensation that is refreshing.
This was kind of a beautiful track that combined electronic and natural instrumentation incredibly well and the mix of the track is outstanding as well.
To be able to mix a song like this and have everything come through so bright and intense must have been a challenge but it really worked out perfectly here.
This track hit every aesthetic it was going for and more.
Everyone involved put their utmost efforts in and it came through with heart, soul, passion, love, and just a real authentic need to put together music that you can feel in your bones and in your blood.
Outstanding track.
Definitely listen to this one nice and loud or even with headphones on so you could really just get down with it.
See how this one affects you.
