The latest release from Grand Nathaniel gives off such a warmth in self-expression and a spirited approach that also feels welcoming in its tonality as it comes across with a full-bodied sort of folk rock feel along with plenty of pop overtone, especially in those vocal performances and how robust they can feel delivering catchy melodies.

The single is called "And I Will", which certainly feels like something that came from within. This is a track that expresses so much about how the world is there for us to see and feel, connect with and be around, and it also has another side to it that feels more like that spirited, 'I'm going to do my thing my way' sentiment.

It definitely comes across with a lot of thick personality, and that's probably what you end up really loving about the song as a whole. You can understand where he's coming from, and at times, he can be very descriptive with the lyrics that you can actually paint pictures to an extent, while the song unfolds.

It's got a couple of different guitar layers, one that feels more like an acoustic, clean guitar, and another one that is laying these single note melodies with a bit of reverb effect in the distance to feel over those, so that you have these great layers sitting on top of each other and giving the song a bit of depth.

Those elements, of course, expand during the pre-choruses and during the course, as well as the vocals.

During the verses, you're paying a lot of attention to the lyrics and the vocals still have a lot of passion behind them, and certainly do again, deliver those catchy melodies, even during these sections, but during the choruses, everything gets a lot bigger.

There's more for you to swim through, and it is all very pop-coated, in the best ways possible.

The acoustic guitar is performing the chords, and that's what gives it that whole folk-rock undertone. None of this is over the top, but instead very well balanced so that you have something that is quite inviting and does have that warmth in tonality, which just feels good to listen to.

Again, the descriptive lyrics are a huge part of why the song comes across so strongly. He definitely didn't hold back in terms of wanting to paint that picture and take you on that journey.

And that's what this song is really basing itself around. Just getting up and taking a journey. Getting yourself out there into the world to experience more. It's got this element of excitement and its undertone. It's an excitement just to be alive. It's about going as far as you think you can and not looking back. It doesn't really matter what's at the end of the journey. It's just the point that you took the journey itself.

Now, this is just what I picked up from the song, and I think other people might interpret it slightly differently, but for me, that was the sentiment that stuck.

The guitar work across this track is excellent, and there are some surprises around its corners as the song plays through.

The vocal approach is excellent the whole time, but there are chunks of the song where there are more than one vocal track, and those come through with that thicker element and texture, so they become very impactful and end up being parts of the songs that you remember more.

There's also a certain kind of spaciousness in the underbelly of the track that makes it feel almost cinematic in a certain sense.

Either way, you could definitely feel the personality shining through on this one, and as far as we can tell, this is a single that is going to be part of an upcoming record set to release later this year. I'm certainly looking forward to that because I loved the feel and aesthetic of this track in particular, so I'm hoping that was going to be more of that on the rest of the release.

As far as I know, this is going to be dropped in November, and I'm certainly looking out for that.

In the meantime, this will certainly keep me at bay.

This track also has a wonderful accompanying music video that is really fun to watch; it's colorful, and it is edited very well to line up with some of the lyrics of the song, so you can actually get the sentiment even more.

I listened to this track a few times by watching the video, and it really let me soak in the lyrics a little bit better.

And anyway, definitely check this one out because a lot is happening, very colorful layers, beautiful textures, and a wonderful sentiment that, for me, connected with something inside and made me want more.
