Grander Drops A Fresh Single

A fresh new single from Grander delivers a certain kind of rock warmth that comes through vast and expansive as it leans on this almost fantastical and cinematic backbone, so the soundscape of it all comes through spacious and lush which is something you end up getting really attached to along the way.
"Rumblestrip" features some really cool guitar parts and amazing time signatures coming from the drums and those elements come together in a seemingly naturally forward moving flow so the song has this smoothness to it and you end up getting engulfed by that and eventually sort of washed away by it as well.
I definitely enjoy the fact that upfront it's got these sort of plucky guitars that deliver a semi clean sound tonally but have a little bit of edginess to them as well and beneath that you have that expansive feel and the vocals have a lot to do with that as well because they are sort of drawn out in a great way.
The way the lyrical phrasing is put together is brilliant because the words themselves a lot of the time have held out notes and because of that it almost feels like the vocals are used as an instrument themselves, layering this beautiful melody on top of an already atmospheric sound and that really rounds everything out so incredibly well.
The other thing I really adore about this track is how it sort of grows in intensity towards the middle and end of the track where things get a little edgier and slightly heavier but they don't go full on heavy.
You get more layers of guitars that are performed more intensely and those notes create melodies that layer each other which becomes like a texture of its own and this happens towards the end of the song within the last minute and it really adds a sort of alive and breathing feeling to the whole track.
The arrangement is brilliantly done and keeps your attention very well while being so experimental in their own way and you can tell that this is done by a group of guys that absolutely have a love for their craft and when I say that I don't just mean playing their instruments or singing, I mean writing these kinds of songs together and having it be its own entity and then putting it out into the world.
Different people will take the song in different ways and I love that about it as well because it's not just a cookie cutter type of track.
This song incorporates Progressive, Indie, dream, and even pop rock, and roll them all into one single but again, it's so seamless and natural that it just feels good to listen to.
This track has a way of putting you in a mood which is kind of hard to explain in words but when you listen to it you'll get what I'm saying because by the time you get halfway through the song you're involved and you're in this different atmosphere that they give you.
Grander, as far as we can tell or from New Jersey and sincerely enjoy writing songs that are able to sort of bend genres and step outside the norm.
There are some other singles really starting in 2020 that you can find on their Spotify page including an album from 2021 which is outstanding.
This new single really shows how the band has evolved sound wise and how they've sort of fallen into their own in terms of creating a soundscape that has their signature on it.
This was an outstanding track and I suggest listening to it with headphones on so you could really soak in all the things that are happening in it.
There's a lot going on in the songs ether.
Dive into this one and take a swim through it and see how it affects you.
