The Genuine Rock Feel Of Indus Valley Kings
The latest from Indus Valley Kings is one heck of a rock ride as it incorporates some real deal classic and hard rock styles and takes them each a step further with all the bells and whistles you would expect from an album of this caliber.
The album is dubbed Origin and this may be due to it being a concept album which at times, it does feel like it is. But it could also be a call out to all the bands that influenced these guys to create such a badass, pure rock record.
The songs have some range and present quite a handful of closed fisted energy that packs brilliant hooks and licks from some killer guitar leads to heavy riffs that turn into melodic sections and really make the record intricate but performed with straight rock soul and catchiness.
The band doesn't hold much back in the way of putting the right energy out there and that presence is loud and clear from minute one.
Everything here feels like stories that are being told in the form of song and that in itself is cool but the way it's all performed and laid out is really something.
Indus Valley Kings has the stuff of great arena rock legends and this record shows it.
You get riffs that are new takes on sounds you grew up with, you get tracks you can sing right along with, you get choruses you can bang your head to.
It's all there and this band does it without a hitch and also seem to create songs that really touch on serious classic rock vibes as well.
More than a few singles on this one so check them out.
