INES Delivers A Pop Infused SIngle

11967-img1531-17710240210876.jpeg

A recent single release from INES delivers a flowing pop overtone that lends a hand to elements of electronic, spacious approaches and soundscapes, and a heartfelt vocal approach that delivers melodies, especially during the choruses, that are incredibly impactful and just sort of stick with you for hours

"Heartbeat" manages to lend a hand to this cinematic sort of backbone, and this is largely attributed to the kind of synth pads that are used in the underbelly of the track.

On the forefront, there are sorts of colorful but still edgy since they are in more focus. These are the driving forces behind the musical sense of the track along with the heavy-handed beat that gives it an additional alternative edginess as well.

Now, the beat is pretty four on the floor, so it does have a great pop overcoat; it branches off into some different directions, utilizing this synth-pop tonality to give the song a particular aesthetic.

The production on this track is outstanding and does indeed reach a little bit outside the box, bringing in experimental elements like this hip hop style beat that comes in and out at certain parts of the song

I definitely dig the sort of blending of genres on this one. It was definitely well thought out and had a lot of attention paid to the bells and whistles.

All the layers of synthesizers and keys, along with the beats and bass, fell together like puzzle pieces, and it really gave the track a sort of punch. It was a little bit heavy-hitting, but in a good way.

It's the chorus that gives you this memorable hook. It has a certain power to it, and she came up with such a great one, as it gives a bit of a descending line, and it just bounces around in your brain.

The way she performs that chorus is also really impactful. She sort of belts it out and nails every note, performing with a great passion that gives the song even more character and makes it feel authentic.

Listening to how it all comes together, certain keys and approaches throughout the track do beckon '80s pop as well. It's not over the top, but you can hear certain kinds of classic or vintage pop influences coming through if you really listen.

Perhaps the 80s and 90s pop are both part of what influences INES musically, along with this thriving, very current, synth-driven pop approach.

The song has a lot of depth because of those synthesizers. They each bring specific textures to the table, and when they come together, it feels expansive and fast. This is something that gives the track a way to wrap itself around you.

It's a great blend of color and edginess, all in all. You have a lot of charisma, vibrant vocals that are just robust, coming through with a powerful punch, but beautiful melodies.

You also have these crisp, sort of edgy synthesizers along with a thick underbelly that gives it depth, spaciousness, and again, this cinematic feel and aesthetic.

Now, if you're not too familiar with the music of INES, then I would definitely start with this track, but also go back and listen to a few for other previous releases, including "Dance" as well as "Attention".

All of these songs really showcase different parts of your personality and her artistry as well. They all take a little bit of a different stance in terms of the musical approach and style, but are still consistent with each other.

Although they are a little bit different, they can all easily be on the same EP or album.

I definitely can't wait for the next one from the artist because she is amazing at really putting forth a very flavorful and exciting pop soundscape that quickly becomes infectious and makes you want more when it's all over.

Take a deep dive into this one to see exactly what I mean.
