James BonTempo & Truth Tables Release A Classic EP

A fresh release from James BonTempo & Truth Tables gives off a real deal classic rock feel with a genuine approach and a folk rock undertone that all accompanies honest and full lyrics and hooks that end up sticking with you for ages.
There is something about the Rise EP that makes you feel like you've heard it somewhere before. It's familiar and comfortable, warm and has a sort of purity to it.
Songs have some range but stick to that twangy guitar lick, catchy chorus, classic rock vibe with a great pop sensibility lurking just beneath the skin all the time.
The tracks are each memorable and have their own life.
Organs fill the empty space and vocals sit atop it all and come through in an almost Bob Dylan style.
You can feel these songs in your bones and they seem to be able to trigger memories in your brain that make you feel good.
This record is personal and has a very one on one tonality to it that makes you feel like you are a part of the songs as they happen.
They are relatable and honest and that always makes for some great music in any genre really.
There is a staple sound that the songs end up having that have some great acoustic backing and hooky electric guitar lines that overlay and drive the emotion and aesthetic of the songs.
Some additional instrumentation like trumpet and more come in and out giving added texture and fun to the songs and it only strengthens everything as a whole.
Rise is a beautiful EP and there are songs for everyone on it. Touching on a neo-folk style and letting you just listen and think.
This is a great record for a glass of whiskey, some headphones, and some alone time.
They are meant to be listened to alone and with some time to soak everything in properly.
For a record with 5 tracks it feels like a whole lot more honestly.
So come sit with James BonTempo & Truth Tables and enjoy these classic tracks when you can. You'll be glad you did.
