JANIQ RELEASES A NEW POP SINGLE
A new single release from Janiq delivers some very vibrant and crisp pop polish but does so with personality and style. The single comes through with a spirited and vivacious approach and certainly doesn't hold back in the way of memorable hooks that end up sticking with you.
"Dior" is a perfect title for the song because it does have that aesthetic. It's got the feel of high class and her performance on the track really lets her presence as an artist come through with a spirited shine.
One of my favorite aspects about this track is the way the vocals are put together because she does have that really sort of soulful almost R&B style pop vocal track on the forefront but, there are tons of layers that come in and out of the background as well that add a lot of lushness to the track and also help that blend of edginess and color hit the way it was meant to.
She has a unique way of sort of bending her notes for those background vocals as well and the harmonies and combination with those bands really let the song build an atmosphere.
It is indeed quite colorful as I mentioned earlier and you can tell she's having a blast recording this track to the point where maybe this is where her sweet spot is. Being in the studio tracking her songs is her happy place or at least it feels that way when you listen to the track.
There's a little bit of a freeing feeling to the track especially in the way that she arranged and recorded everything. She's not really holding back and she's letting loose in terms of layering those vocals and having fun with it to the point where that actually comes through in the vibe of the song and becomes sort of infectious when you listen to it.
Now, Janiq has been making waves lately with a series of releases this year and some last year that have already been receiving accolades which is not surprising whatsoever especially if you listen to them.
Upon listening to this track I did check out some of her previous releases and each of them does deliver a really sort of rambunctious but clean pop approach that always shines with personality and character as I mentioned before however, they also show a little bit of a different side to how she does her thing.
She gives little pieces of herself in her releases and I think that's really important for an artist like this because she is being honest in the process of dropping these pop bangers.
There's also some diversity and eclectic approaches in terms of the songwriting that serve for some pretty great surprises and a lot of these tracks are super radio friendly but again they have this great hint of edginess to them that quickly seems to become a staple feel for her releases.
I love an artist that can be honest and still remain edgy and have that pop polish at the same time.
It shows that she pays a lot of attention to not only the arrangement and composition of her tracks but what she's saying and what she's letting out during them.
I find it unique to have an artist that drops music that can be honest but also have this almost wild energy that becomes something you want more and more of.
If you dig this track then you're definitely going to dig a release that she dropped earlier this year called "Get It On" which was really awesome and keeps to that pop style but she also has other tracks released last year and the year before that blend in dance pop, and lend a hand to cultural diversity in soundscape and I feel like that's really cool because she's creating music that's memorable and catchy as pop song should be of course, but she's also not doing it with a lot of walls built around her approach.
She's not afraid to go to these different places because whatever she puts out still has heart and still has that pop Sheen that makes it hit with the aesthetic it was meant to.
Most certainly check this track out and while you're at it listen to some of the previous releases on Spotify because it's more than worth your time especially if you're into great and memorable pop music that has some heart, honesty, vibrancy, and wants to send a message but also have fun at the same time.
