A new release from Jess Setterfield gives off a refreshing and colorful Americana -pop sound with some classic Country instrumentation and killer performances on all parts and guitars twang in the background, lap steel sways, and vocals are soothing and powerful.
"Burned and Bruised" is a beautifully honest and warming sound with an absolutely lush soundscape and some soulful singing while the band sounds bright.
The hooks don't stop especially vocally and there are tons of memorable moments strung across this track.
This song has some major pop sensibility but also boasts a great anthemic power behind it that really shines.
The song has outstanding production and that sheed persists from start to finish.
That southern twang stays true and Stterfield's vocals are heartfelt as she tells her story.
The artist can really paint vivid pictures with her words and emotionally driven singing and it all comes together with a wonderful vibrancy.
