Jontahn Foster Releases A New Single
We are ecstatic to announce a new release from Americana and folk singer-songwriter Jonathan Foster who has just dropped a brand new track called "Never Cry Wolf" which is most certainly a track that gives more than one or two life lessons if you listen to those lyrics.
Being able to fall into a song like this comes quite easily and Jonathan is the one that makes it so easy. Not only is he delivering these classic and genuine sort of life lessons but he's doing so in a way that feels like you're hearing it from an old soul.
Over here, we are most certainly fans of Jonathan Foster and his releases simply because he's able to put together songs that have a bit of depth to them.
They provide something that a lot of other songs don't. They give you a sense of who the artist is as a person. It puts you closer to him as a human being.
The way Jonathan writes his music makes things feel so understandable and relatable that it all makes perfect sense.
This single has an amazing set of textures to it in terms of its soundscape and not only does it include classic folk in Americana acoustic guitar but it's got some overlapping electric guitar work that has a particular way of floating across the track and giving it an underbelly that feels spacious.
One of the things that we have said about Jonathan before, and will say it again right now, is that if you like this track then you're going to like all of his music.
It's not all the same. He has different approaches at different times. You can tell that certain parts of life Inspire him and he writes what he feels in the moment it would seem.
But, he does have a particular aesthetic to his songwriting and his tones that let you know it's him and this is why I know you'll love all his music if you love just one song.
