Kacey McClain Drops A Fresh Pop Single
The latest from Kacey McClain brings out a crisp and refreshing pop vibe with a colorful backing and elements of retro pop and synthwave that creep in when you least expect it bringing everything to a bit of a different atmosphere.
"Unwanted" is both a banger and a slow burn somehow while the song builds more and more as it plays on it hits you hard with classic feeling hooks and keys right from the get-go as well so you get the best of both worlds in terms of a pop song of this caliber.
They're these piano routes that make everything so super Lush and deepening while those keys are what lay out the hooks as vocals are insanely lush and layered, harmonized and full-bodied.
You also get some cool breakdowns in there that will surprise a little bit which is really refreshing and as this happens you get different elements of production in there as well and all of this together brings such a brightness to the soundscape of the whole thing.
I mean it's definitely got a vibrancy to it and the artist portrays a lot of character and presence on the track. But I think all of that comes naturally to her. Like it's second nature.
The combination of vocal and musical hooks together is what really makes this quite as grasping as it was built to be. You get kind of a vast dreamy undertone to it that lets you float along and get washed away with certain sections of it as well.
But when that core comes back in it hits pretty hard and that entire section of the song is incredibly memorable and can be impactful as well.
There are also personal aspects of the song like this was written from personal life experience which makes it even more relatable than it already was to begin with.
So this track is just full of great attention to detail and intricacies that a lot of pop artists don't take it to consideration quite as much as McClain does.
Throughout the whole thing you get the vibe of a youthfulness that isn't just brought on by the little hints of retro pop but also the character that she does give throughout the song.
This is definitely for anyone that loves pop music and is more than worth your time and playlists.
