Karen Harding Single Premier "Insane For A Moment"
A brand new release from songstress Karen Harding delivers an approach that steps a little bit outside of her wheelhouse but comes through with a perfect aesthetic and power.
"Insane for A moment" is an amazing portrayal of creating a vast soundscapes using natural instrumentation and by doing so giving an atmosphere that almost feels spiritual in a way.
The percussion on this track is a really intense side of it and gives everything such an upswing feel as it has an almost majestic way of mending with the soothing and smooth either of the song being created by floating vocals.
This was a really interesting and all engulfing single because it had such a cool way of blending in her staple sound with these new attributes that are so incredibly excitable and I absolutely love the direction this song goes.
There's something so spacious about this track and how you cannot sort of swim through it and be able to feel the purpose of it all coming through.
What's more is that you get these hints of in almost dance pop undertone blending in with that spiritual overcast and the way that those elements unique that it makes the song almost addictive.
We're no strangers to Karen Harding and her outstanding beauteous approach to songwriting as she has a way of giving almost angelic tonality at times so when we heard this song it totally blew us away.
That Angelic vibe is still there in the floating background vocals that fill the space of the song however it's got so much edginess and punch to it now.
Part of the fun of being able to follow an artist is to realize her evolution as a songwriter which has a lot to do with the evolution of person themselves.
Following those types of things are unique and it speaks for her character and her artistry a lot.
It's clear that she's doing her own thing and creating music with fewer boundaries than she had before which I think is a good thing, not because the preceding music was an amazing, but because artists should be able to grow the way that she is.
To be clear, we are big fans of Harding and her music has always been cinematic and Lush but we love hearing her step outside that box and do something that shakes it up a little bit.
We're proud of Karen here and this was an outstanding piece of music that easily stands on its own two legs.
Check this one out when you can it's totally worth it.
