Main Primate is back with their spanking new release "Super 8 Day" and it feels like memories and paints a picture clearly while the tracks psychedelic indie rock sounds invade your space.
The song has major classic rock vibes but also has a bit of a spacey vibe while synths fly around and swell behind the alternative driven slide guitars bringing that staple Main Primate sound to life.
The song feels huge but also has an addictive quality to it. The guitar work on this one is key and you can hear how much fun this was for the guys to lay down.
"Super 8 Day" is a 90's rock swaray and hits the mark near perfectly.
It feels almost like a live performance. It makes you want to see Main Primate live and hey, maybe that'll be a thing someday soon. But until then, this single will feed the rock fever you've got well.
As soon as it ends you sort of go "wait wait, let's have a go at that one again", and replay the song so you can grasp it all up once more.
A great track that further pushes the fact that this band is steadily releasing killer rock songs that have their own unique quality to them. Each a bit different from the last but good rock fun all the same.
"Super 8 Day" is part of the upcoming full length album release ...For The Lamplighters and we're sure to be covering that full release as well.
Check out "Super 8 Day", you won't be sorry about it.
