The latest single release from Marc Daniels brings out such a warm and welcoming atmosphere with loads of nostalgic undertones and a sentiment that a lot of us can understand on a deep level.

"Good Old Days" is a track that touches on when we were all young and how we may not have realized it then, but those were the days we would hold on to for the rest of our lives.

When you're a kid, you have certain friends, you go through certain experiences, and those are the things that shape you as a person to an extent.

As you get older, you start realizing that and start wanting to hold on and reminisce about those days.

This is a song that works so well that it actually causes memories of your own to pop into your head as you're listening to it.

I have to love a song that gives me those bouts of nostalgia based purely on lyrics alone.

This is a beautifully lush single that had a lot of layers of country and Americana tonality with roots folk in its underbelly, and the tones of the guitars and vocals just came through again, warm.

I love how he was able to create the song around the lyrics that felt right.

The energy and aesthetic of the music lines up perfectly with those lyrics and just sends you down your own memory lane, but at the same time, you're listening to his story.

As you're listening, it all makes perfect sense.

Marc was truly able to capture something special here, and I know that this is a song that means a lot to him because it's performed with heart, it's loaded with personality, and he's just letting all of these memories and inner thoughts come out so that you can connect with them.

We need more music that you can connect with these days and Marc Daniel certainly pulled it off without a hitch and with a charm to boot.

The vocals are bright, energetic, robust, and feel good to listen to. This is a track where you can hear all of these great classic country style influences and still have something a little bit new to offer.

He isn't reinventing the wheel here. He's just doing things his way. He's writing a song that was a call back to the days of his youth.

A song that hits a certain spot and gives off a particular atmosphere that you just want to sort of hold on to.

The track features a lot of great instrumentation, not just guitars, but also there's piano, live percussion, and vocal harmonies that just feel beautiful when you listen to them.

To me, this is kind of like an anthem to our youth. An anthem to the good old days.

This is a song I needed to hear. I have no problem reminiscing about the good old days myself, and it's just great to hear someone who wrote a song about it pinpointing certain things so well with such great detail and description that it paints a vivid picture in your head.

It's quite rare to come across something like that, but Marc did it extremely well here, and again, it has heart.

No matter how lush the song is, or what its influences are, or the production value, none of it would matter if it didn't have heart.

You can tell that was an important aspect with this artist, and he just put a little piece of himself out there for everyone.

But it's a piece that we all understand and we can all connect with.

A beautifully woven single from Marc Daniels, most certainly listen to "Good Old Days" so you can feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

It seems like it's been a few years since his last release before this single however, going through some of his back catalog on Spotify is a very well worth it because there are singles and albums that you can take in and if you dig this track, you're very likely to dig a lot of those other stuff too.

Check this out now and take a little trip down memory lane with Marc Daniels.
