MimiQ Releases The Dances Of Us EP
The unique and inspiring sounds of MimiQ introduce themselves with quite an impact with a new EP release that fluctuates in intensity and overall vibes as songs sway and build, connect and hit with a tasteful and beautifully executed energy.
This record is overflowing with surprising twists and turns and everything is delivered with a thickened and fantastic set of tones that feel like different worlds colliding. And we say that in the best way possible of course.
This is insanely inventive and slightly outside the box but also not because it has such a classically visual drive behind it that you can actually picture things as you hear the sounds.
Amazing melodies and percussion throughout this record along with any ethereal diversity that picks up and pulls back down so you are going for a ride when you listen to the record in full, make this leave an impact.
MimiQ is it particular kind of songwriter and producer as she does all of this on her own as we understand it.
This aspect we find quite interesting because the thought of being able to take something that's in your brain and delivering that into reality and seeing what it sounds like must be overwhelming but very fun.
This is something that you put some headphones on your head and kick back to soak it in so that you can get taken to these different places that the artist brings you into.
This is a very enjoyable release and it's called The Dance of Us.
As MimiQ states - "This EP allowed me to really take in just how much I’ve evolved as a producer. When I first started out, I had no idea what I was doing! Thank God for Full Sail giving me the education to do what I love, but at first, I’d make songs that only centered around one musical idea. There was no progression, and the song would only have a duration of maybe a minute. Making this EP taught me that one musical idea can be tied through multiple changes, modes, etc. to create a cohesive song. A good body of work tells a story. And a great story has parts that connect it all."
We definitely hope to hear plenty more from this artist and producer.
