A Warm New Single From Naomi Elisa

A beautiful new single from Naomi Elisa manages to deliver such a wonderfully woven set of tones that come through very warm and welcoming as the sentiment of the song shines through open-heartedly and creates a soundscape that feels vast in its undertone and cinematic in a sense, wrapping itself around you and letting you float alongside every note.
"Akeli Nahi (Not Alone)" for me, was quite impactful and I think that it's a song that can be quite relatable to almost anyone because of the premise and sentiment.
We all go through different things. It's music like this that helps us get through it simply because it gives us a sense of peace in a certain aspect. It lets us know that we ourselves are not alone.
The music of this is so open-armed and flowing. It's got an ethereal sense to it and its percussion is gorgeous because it lets the song sort of breathe and feel alive which is something that you don't get often.
This is not a cookie-cutter style track although it does have plenty of memorable aspects about it.
Naomi's vocal approach is as welcoming as everything else on this track to be honest. It is totally beautiful and you end up falling right into this atmosphere that she puts together for the track.
Songs like this are more of an experience than just a song. You fall into them and end up drifting along with some of the textures and sounds that flow through the ether of the music and I feel like there's a lot of attention to detail that's paid when an artist like Naomi is putting a song like this one together.
There are actually quite a few layers to this track and it's got a subtle build to it so that by the time you get halfway into the song you're fully engulfed.
I also really love how the song sort of swims around in the air that surrounds you and then you end up feeling washed away with everything at the end.
It's a strangely cleansing song. I feel a little different after listening to it a few times.
The song has such a beautiful way of letting you look into yourself which for a lot of us is a difficult thing to do.
The percussion and synths grow and start swelling bigger. Her vocals become like instruments themselves and provide gorgeous floating melodies that you get attached to.
The entire song shifts as it grows and it's something that has the strangest way of affecting you or grabbing hold of you.
Sometimes some songs have their own persona. This song lets you attach your own persona to it. It's a little different but super amazing because you don't get stuff like that often.
You can tell that Naomi is someone who's in love with the craft of songwriting and building songs that have depth to them while still remaining a bit colorful and being able to slightly bend genres when she wants to.
This was such a great track that hits this vast contemporary pop approach with elements of world music and a spirited underbelly that gives everything that lush character.
I fell hard for this one and I think you will too so give this a listen but, do it with headphones on.
I am telling you right now, listening to this with headphones on as a whole different animal.
If you pop on those phones and listen to this track you will be pulled into this outstanding atmosphere and that's how you want to listen to this track.
You want to be pulled into that atmosphere so that you can be affected by it.
Check this out now and while you're at it, you should listen to some of Naomi's previous releases because she does show different sides of her songwriting and herself with her songs.
All of it is more than worth a listen.
