A Lush New Single from Pearl Poet

Pearl Poet returns with a brand new single that reaches into an expansive and vast undertone soundscape that touches everything from synth bop, dance, electro-pop, and more that all sort of mends together in this musical journey that feels amazing to listen to, especially with headphones on because the atmosphere that's built with this track is massive and when you put headphones on you can hear all the things that are happening in it.
"The Tides Have Changed" features such a warm and welcoming vibe that comes in bursts of colors and textures and along with that you have a dream and indie pop underbelly that really helps give new layers to the track and adds a little more depth to the already lush sounds that you hear.
The production on this track is outstanding and I love how experimental this project gets with this song being absolutely no exception. The sets of key and synth tones and sounds used across this track make it as fast as it is and create an aesthetic that wraps itself right around you.
I do and do you think my favorite aspect about these tracks is the actual production of them although the vocals do an amazing job of flowing right along with those experimental and almost psychedelic production tones at times.
You can tell that this is sort of a match made in heaven and when I say that I mean the two people involved in this duo.
The fusion of sounds across the board is something that really draws you in and their ability to bend genres while keeping a steady foundation is completely seamless, and this is part of how they're able to sort of experiment and dip into different tones and sounds throughout one single track and still have it feel very smooth and forward moving.
We're not strangers to this project whatsoever and every time they release a track there's something a little bit new and a little bit surprising to it. That's because of their evolution and ability to create music with fewer walls built around it.
This is not conforming to any type of societal-based genre. This is a bit freeing and that's also part of what makes it addictive.
I definitely love this direction and throughout it, you can hear influences of classic almost 80s-style vintage pop elements throughout, not just this song, but some of their past music as well.
Their ability to create a track that has a little bit of edginess, a lot of color, a kind of vivacious charisma, and this smooth and spacious undertone is amazing to me.
It seems like it's a crazy combination but it works for them perfectly.
As usual, you get some digital sounds that complement each other and help push the song forward and nothing about it is really over the top. Everything is balanced so well, and not just dynamically but musically also.
The vocals lend such a beautiful hand to the song itself and allow everything to come together with a little bit more purpose and meaning which I think is important for a track like this.
This is also what gives it that hint of indie pop as well.
Once again this was an absolutely wonderfully woven single that a lot of attention went into in terms of the detail, the arrangement, the vocal approach, and everything else, but it never loses that heart or its main purpose, or personality that it started with in the first place.
Once again I would suggest checking this one out with headphones on because it's one of the best ways to do it. It allows you to hear all the notes that are scattered about in the song and the sort of ethereal undertone that exists throughout its course as well.
Oh, make 100% sure you check out more songs from this project if you like this track.
