Phoebe Silva ramps up to release her One Day At A Time EP and personally we can't wait.
The record is an alluring display of powerful vocals and passionate performances complete with string sections and a very cinematic vibe all around.
These songs are their own brand of contemporary pop songs and they all have a life of their own but together, it becomes something of a concept record.
Hints of jazz and R&B peak through from beneath the skin of the EP as it playson and you get a feel for the emotional platform from which this record was written.
At times songs feel like they have a touch of 70's and even 90's pop at times especially with her choruses that feel like you've heard them somewhere before even though you haven't.
Tracks get personal and Silva holds nothing back lyrically or musically for that matter.

This EP has a great way of sticking with you long after it's ended.
