If ever I heard a song that took some of the best elements of R&B, neo-soul, and pop, blended them, and gave off this incredibly refreshing atmosphere, it's the new song from Reese Warren, "Feels Like A Day".
This track is absolutely packed with flowing, gorgeous, and warm instrumentation.
There are elements about the song that feel orchestral, cinematic, and robust, but always still have this naturally soulful tonality to them that welcomes you with open arms.
This is a song that was produced with a lot of attention paid to the little details.
There is a series of tones and textures that sort of come together and create this big atmosphere, and it feels amazing to just get swallowed up by it all.

Hey Reese and thanks so much for taking a moment with us! Feels Like A Day was a beautifully performed track with R&B flow but also with some bountiful pop overtones. Colorful and with great personality attached!
Thank you so much for having me. I love that you like my new song. 
What is this song about?
The song is about falling in love on a beautiful spring day. The feeling of something new and exciting is starting.
Did you write the lyrics first, or did the production and instrumentation come before that?
I spoke with my producer about the direction I wanted to go in for the song and he created a basic beat for me to write to. The process was a collaboration of music and lyrics from that point on.
Did you work with any producers on this song?
Yes. I work with an amazing team of producers.
Can you give us some of your bigger musical influences?
One of my biggest musical influences is Ariana Grande. She, along with Raye, Sienna Spiro, Olivia Dean and the creativity of Tyler the Creator are some of my go to's.
How long did it take you to put this track together?
The song came together pretty quickly. I think from start to mastering, it was about a month.
Are you planning any shows in support of this song?
Yes. I am working with booking agents and organizing live shows for the summer. My next live performance is at The Lucky Strike in Hollywood, CA on Saturday, June 6th.
Now that this is out there, what comes next for you?
I am shooting a movie at the end of May. I get to play a music artist and my music will be featured in the movie. I am very excited about it. After that, what's next is making more music and booking more Film, TV and Voice Over roles.
What kind of advice would you give other artists trying to get heard out there?
My first advice is to never give up. This is a long process and many times, one feels like giving up. If you really want it, don't give up. Your time will come. After that, continue to train and become better at what you do. Vocal training, acting training and consistent practice is key. Talent only gets you so far.
