Explosive. Cinematic. Unrelenting. Robots in Love are tearing down genre walls with a soundthat fuses
the raw power of rock with the razor-edge precision of electronic production.
The band is a creative collision between vocalist/producer Elenor Rayner and drummer /producer Alex
Burchell. Elenor’s emotive, dystopian synthscapes merge with precision-crafted percussion to form a
sound that’s both visceral and visionary.
Elenor’s global reputation precedes her: with hundreds of production, remix, and vocal credits, including
work with Sobriquet and The Crystalline Effect, she is known for her innovative style. Alex brings a
methodical mindset and a modern edge from his experience as a prog
rock/metal producer (Angels Unchained), remixer (Magnetique), synthwave artist (Techno-Logique), and
performer with the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra.
They are joined by Henry Flynn Wall on guitar, adding further weight to their already formidable sound.
Formed in 2023, the band has been touring Aotearoa/New Zealand and Australia. They have played
Gathering Shadows Festival in Wellington, RebelTech101 in Melbourne, and the Winter Solstice Festival
in Aotearoa’s South Island.
They have released 4 EPs and their debut album ACTIVATE! reached #17 on the Official Aotearoa Music
Charts.
