Roxanne Delivers A Soul-Pop Single
A new single release from Roxanne delivers a somewhat classic soul-pop single that blends into dance and does so with a robust and lush character combined with instrumentation that really lets the song pop and lets Roxanne herself shine with presents from beginning to end.
"Can't Stop This Feeling" is a track that certainly has a great build to it and you can tell it's coming from someplace genuine as it is somewhat of a love song, and on top of all that you have this sort of electric energy that puts you right there in the moment as she's able to give a little bit of a piece of herself into the song and deliver a performance with drive.
This track was definitely a colorful and pop-coated sound that I felt good to listen to and for me, growing up with certain kinds of 90s dance tracks, it gave me a little hint of nostalgia as well because you can feel that influence coming through in the songs along with the kind of tones that she uses on the keys and even the beats at times.
It's got that almost vintage dance-pop feel with that steady and energetic attitude especially musically along with those robust and soulful vocals on top of it so that's where those little bits of nostalgia come from because you can tell those kinds of songs are partially where this comes from.
Of course, this is R&B as well and blends in a few other genres but stays steady with its approach and has such a fun vibe to give off that the song is completely infectious right from the beginning.
You can clearly tell that Roxanne is having an absolute ball tracking this because the energy is electric, and this is part of what gives this song such a vivacious feel and approach.
Not only was it endlessly fun but it has a little bit of an experimental side to it with those synths and an explosive and unbelievably danceable rhythm along with that great building arrangement.
It feels like Roxanne was really in her zone or happy place recording this track because that kind of liveliness comes through in this track especially however, having listened to the song, I decided to take a bit of a deep dive into her back catalog of releases on Spotify and she has a handful of other tracks that are amazing with each one showing a little bit of a different side of her personality and artistry.
The single certainly speaks volumes for her as an artist but the other tracks that were previously released also do an amazing job of showcasing her talent and her ability to write songs that stick in your head for hours or even days after they've ended.
The best part about that is the only way to satiate a song that's bouncing around in your brain is to listen to it again and that attribute is really strong with all of her releases.
Roxanne is certainly one of those artists that you feel like may have been born to do this and you can feel that positive energy from the songs.
These songs are addictive and I suggest listening to this track first and then going back to her other releases because she really puts everything she has into these songs and does it for the love of her craft.
