Sarah Sunday Hits Us With A Fresh Single

Sarah Sunday returns with a massive new single that breeds a crossover of alternative rock and hyper-pop by taking these very bubbly and colorful soundscapes and bringing them into a little bit of an edgier environment and by doing so she's created a song that packs a punch but isn't very invasive. Hence, it has this fun and addictive danceability to it that makes you want more and more of it as the song plays on.
"I'm So Simple" is the type of track that gets your blood pumping pretty quickly because it has a very fast-moving rhythm to it, and there are a lot of elements and layers to this track musically that pop in and out and this gives such a full body and Lush feel to the track itself.
The single boasts great guitar work and that's really what more of her staple sound feels like a lot of the time because she is a pop rock artist if you ask me and we have definitely had the pleasure of reviewing some of Sarah's material previously.
Having said that, she does venture into remixes and adding different styles of pop and electronic into her tracks also so she is incredibly inventive and she really releases music with fewer boundaries built around it than you may be used to which I feel is something important because the future of pop music is going in that direction.
I think that Sarah Sunday is one of those artists that could be on the Forefront of being able to bend genres at free will and make it sound amazing while giving something that has a high-impact energy and packs in a lot of personality as well.
Now again, Sarah Sunday always packs in a lot of personality because her songs do come from places that are real and are parts of her as a person so that's always there, but this track is a different side of that because she keeps this high anthemic pop train running hot while she does that so there's a lot to soak in in the 3 minutes that this track plays through.
One of the things that this artist is amazing at is creating hooks in different places. Not just the chorus but a lot of times the verses themselves have repetitive little hooks that happen once or twice and those are the attributes that end up sticking around in your head after the song is ended.
Being able to take that staple sound of hers and blend in the electronic, the experimental, and the wild production approach makes this very high sensory and it fills you with the same kind of energy that it has for a moment in time because that energy is actually very infectious.
I love how she keeps things so sort of spirited. She can bring something to the table that hits like Whiplash and when the song ends you kind of look back and go "Wow, let's listen to that again real quick."
This release was a fast-paced pop banger that hits with just the right kind of edginess and just the right kind of bounce that it needs to cross over everything from that alternative pop and rock to a bubble gum and hyper-pop element and she does this completely seamlessly.
Sarah delivers everything that we would expect and more but she does that every time she puts something out so you feel very satiated when the song is over.
If you are not very familiar with Sarah Sunday then you should get familiar with this track but then go back through for previous releases because they're all awesome.
She gives such a robust character to everything that she puts out there and that is part of the Sarah Sunday addiction musically.
She also often releases great videos with her music which also shows different sides of her artistry and her creative output.
This track is no exception as it does come with an excellent music video that hits as wild and rambunctious as the song does.
Check this track out as soon as you can and again, listen to some of her other stuff because if you like this song, you're definitely going to like her other music.
