An Album Release From SEARCH RESULTS
An album release from Search Results brings out a soiree of fuzz-tone electric and acoustic songwriting that comes with loads of character and an edgy undertone that keeps you guessing but lets you know you're in for something fun.
The Informational Blip is loaded with this youthful and wild energy that beckons classic rock and even Jazz performances that blend into each other seamlessly and with that, you have a certain kind of atmosphere that is outside the box but incredibly addictive.
There's a lot of persona flowing through the veins of this record and halfway through it you come to realize you don't exactly know what to expect next except for the fact that it's going to be something that surprises you in one way or another.
The record is oozing with melodies and this particular attitude that's displayed throughout its course and the instrumentation comes through lush but the band's performance feels almost live because of the way they feed off of each other throughout the record.
It's like energies are bouncing back and forth between each other and that really comes through.
Throughout this release, you have everything from acoustic bass, electric bass, organs, keys, electric and acoustic guitars, and more including lap steel which all together gives you kind of an idea of how eclectic this record actually is.
Having said that, this album is actually very confident and when it's done you feel like you've just watched a grindhouse film or watched them play a show in an open field somewhere.
It's a very very big record that reaches into 15 tracks to be exact and if you listen to it the whole way through it's quite an experience.
There are songs that rock out with an edgy vibrancy and there are songs that give off such detailed stories in a more calm manner as well. You don't know which one you're going to get next but either way, it's going to grab your attention and keep you right where it wants to.
This is definitely one for the books and it's got a unique personality that lets you get engulfed by the soundscape and mannerisms that they give off and that feels great.
Check this one out as soon as you can and if you do have the time, listen to the whole album.
There are certain songs that stand out wonderfully as singles but this is meant to be soaked in as a full record.
