The Infectious Pop Of Sj Talbot
SJ Talbot returns with quite a colorful poop banger that shines with style and presence as it brings an incredibly danceable and honest portrayal of a gorgeously produced single that is sure to lighten your day up in a heartbeat.
"Millisecond" is a breath of fresh air and the track certainly feels like the start of summer time and it works so well it's completely infectious.
Talbot's vocals can come through both powerful and soft, subtle and courageous, and it all fits like a charm.
The single has this touch of retro-pop to it and is loaded with layers of sound that seem to really compliment each other as it plays through an anthemic and dangerously fun three minutes.
This makes you want to take a drive with the top down and pop your hands in the air as you sing along with the chorus and just feel sort of free.
The track does boast that freeing spirit and becomes very quickly addicting and almost inspirational at times.
It's great to hear a pop song like this. We love when indie artists bring on songs that contend with heavy hitters out there and it's happening often now.
It's all a beautiful thing really.
The ability of a youth in songwriters that are just doing their thing because they simply can.
We need more music that comes from places like this. And more with a purpose like this that sounds like you want to go to whatever party this is playing at.
Talbot has a killer presence as an artist on this song and her whole attitude really feels warming and real.
This was a great one!
