Stingay Central Returns With A Smooth Pop Single
Stingray Central returns with a fresh single after teaming up with Darity and Charlie Dresser.
The new track features a smooth contemporary pop undertone with hints of jazz peeking through at every corner complete with wonderfully colorful guitars that float around the songs ether and keeps an atmosphere that's all its own.
"City Walking" is an indie-pop song that bosts an almost theatrical aesthetic and keeps to that ambient nature as swelling synth pads swim around behind notes.
Retro-pop lurks just beneath the surface and the song becomes lush with a full set of instrumentation and smooth vocals that all come together to create a tasteful and infectious single.
It's all quite visual actually. It's almost like you cansee the notes and picture yourself walking through city streets.
Some excellent guitar work is evident throughout the songs course and there is something that connects with you.
That smooth pop sensibilty and sort of light swagger makes the track pretty memorable all together and you can tell Stingray Central had a blast teaming up with others for thsi collaberative effort.
We're no strangers to Sutinray Central having reviews previous releases and it's always an absolute plasure but it;s also amazing to hear this grup dive into genre-bending and bringing some of the best parts of certain styles together in one single.
It's bands like this that stick around for a long time and make music a forever part of their lives. This is music that is relatable, you can get sucked into it, and you can find a bunch more where it came from.
We haven't heard a sub-par release from these guys yet and we don;t expect to anytime soon.
Come take a walk with Stingray Central on this one and while you're at it, lookinto their whole library of releases on Spotify as you're bound to love some more for your playlists.
