The Blisteringly Unique Pop Sounds Of Stuntdriver

A recent release from Stuntdriver brings an edgy alt-retro pop vibe with an air of mystery and a neon lit late night vibe that utilizes some killer synth work and a unique and colorful songwriting approach.

"Nitecreme" is a short but sweet little banger that shows a taste of the swagger that Stuntdriver produces and with a style that keeps its edginess up.

The music of Stuntdriver knows little boundaries and doesn't put up many walls when it comes to songwriting and this is exactly why it can be so addicting at times.

With "Nitecreme" you get a quick but crunchie pop single that lasts enough time for you to go "wait...let's replay that real quick, I wanna hear that again" and the track only begins to show the sort of character Stuntdriver has to offer.

With a number of releases on Spotify you can get a feel for some of the diverse but staple sounds of the music.

One of the great things is that you can hear a major passion and love for the craft of songwriting and recording, and you can also feel that freeing feeling the songs give.

If anything is learned from the music of Stuntdriver, it's that you can make music however off the wall as you want and still make it catchy and even radio friendly. These are textured and lush songs even when they are in a more stripped down format.

"Nitecreme" is an excellent track to introduce you to the music but digging into the back catalog of songs is a must if you dig that first one.

There is a major unique element to it all that makes you recognize who it is when you hear it. You don't get that too often these days.

Another thing is the absolutely killer energy on just about every tack and video that shines through and showcases that amazing presence.

So, we say, dig into Stuntdriver. Start with "Nitecreme" and go back from there but also keep an eye out for new music since it seems the outfit is dropping music quite often.
