A Memorable Record from The Humane Method
Delivering a beautiful form of emotional indie-rock, The Humane Method takes aim to send messages and tell stories with thier newest Paint In Green album release.
The album features their "London" single which has been making waves in the rock community and the full record reaches into the depths of progressive and commercial rock styles with bountiful guitars that give songs graceful approaches and land some memorable sounds and songwriting.
After the band's Reconcile In Colour EP release, which was their debut record, the band took their time to fine tune the new album and it has taken shape to become an opus for them.
There are no empty spaces or down turns throughout the release and plenty of singles line the album's track listing.
"The contrast between the EP and the LP is far greater than even we realized, particularly when heard in chronological order. The music has taken a far more serious tone and everything from arrangements to flow, dynamics, crescendos and lyrics are more refined, cohesive and thoroughly considered. Taking the traditional path of jamming each week (as opposed to the EP’s experimental approach), has had a noticeable effect in the way the songs breathe and allow themselves to succumb to their natural journey. The darker songs are suitably more unnerving, and yet, they are juxtaposed seamlessly against the sweeter, more melancholy moments. There is also a starkness that’s hard to articulate but may derive from influential Australian artists and the vast landscape that inevitably guides us all." - The Humane Method
The band clearly strives to make thier music have meaning and shed some feeling along with the impactful songwriting and sonic landscape.
