The brand new single from The Kid and I out today dubbed "White Feather" is a cross between Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, and a slew of classic rock bands you know and love.

This was a damn good time to create and just as much fun to listen to. All the fun really comes through in the energy and the music.

Guitars that come at you at light speed and harmonize as much as the vocals do, Indie rock chorus, and a Bruce Springsteen bridge. Can you beat that? No. No you can't.

All sorts of great time changes and a genuine attitude along with a guitar solos and just the right amoutn of loose garage rock infused with everything else.

There is something about the track that makes you wanna dance to it and will have you showing it to your friends.

Listening to it makes you want to see these guys live and hopefully it'll get to happen in the coming months. For now, check out "White Feather" cause it's a playlist banger without question.

The Satchel Kid just released a brand new single called "Bobbie Gentry's Lil' Sister" and its got all the makings of a neo-indie folk track brooding with honesty.

Strings build as the song plays on giving off a cinematic feel and descriptive lyrics paint a picture you can easily see.

This is a real love song. A love song that says things we want to say but just can't.

Harmony vocals swell in the vein of Simon & Garfunkel and lead acoustic guitars lay on a smooth jazz feel while you get washed away.

A beautifully performed and addictive song, you certainly feel the realness behind the track.

Melody laden and performed with a certain emotional drive, "Bobbie Gentry's Lil' Sister" is one for the playlists.

Any fans of acoustic, singer songwriter, and indie pop will fall in love with this song staright away.
