The Swinging Iggies Drop A Rock Single with A Real Message

The Swinging Iggies just released a new song that hits a very full-bodied and righteous, lush pop-rock soundscape, but also beckons certain kinds of classic rock as well, and within all of that, delivers a message that a lot of us can relate to.

"Bells of Unity" has a lot going on and comes right in with this great Rock tonality from those guitars and does so with a few different layers of guitars that feel like they bounce off of each other, creating this call back sort of Rhythm and you get pulled right into that bopping Rock approach right from the start.

Again, there's a lot of classic rock influence here, and you do have some organs in the background that fill the space and give the song a bit more depth than atmosphere, along with loads of hooks coming from those guitars.

What's cool is that the riff of the song in the verses has a lot of catchiness to it.

This is great because while the verses are going you have the hooky guitar riffs going on, and then you have a very anthemic and memorable chorus when it hits.

The track does not hold back in terms of really rocking out when those choruses come along and things get very vivacious and charismatic.

There are also sections where the guitars follow the vocals, and those parts of the track stick in your head for hours after the song has ended.

This is a song that calls out a lot happening in the world, if you ask me.

There are so many different sides to the world, the country, people's ideals, how they live, and there's a bit of dislike going on around that.

"Bells of Unity" is a song that calls all of that out and just says, 'Hey, we can just be one.'

Are we really all that different, or can we just ring the bells of unity and realize that we're all the same.

Songs like this have meaning and are so important right now because we need music to cross that threshold and get into the political and the basics of humanity.

That's what this song delivers. It is humanizing all of us again when we seemingly have forgotten that we are all just human after all.

The single gives off such a spirited feel, soundscape, and approach that it all becomes very quickly infectious.

Again, the guitar work is outstanding all across this track and really fills any empty space. There's always guitars happening, and they're always creative, delivering catchy melodies or just an excellent progression that works perfectly with the song's aesthetic.

The vocals follow suit. They're not really over the top, but they deliver the message properly, along with keeping to that semi-classic-rock feel, and that's the part of the aesthetic that hits me the most.

Aside from the message delivered, it's the vintage undertone of classic rock influence that really shines through, and they do it in such a way that feels almost like a live performance and gives off a heavy-handed presence.

I love the way this thing came together, and I'm certainly looking forward to hearing more from the band, which is a good thing because this track is set to be featured on an upcoming rock album series called Kryp II Knight Volume VI to be released from Bongo Boy Records.

This was a totally refreshing track, I suggest you take a listen to and see if you can pick up on the strong message it gives off, and see how you take that in.

It might be a little different for everybody, but I think that overall, this sentiment is completely universal.
