A Classic Banger From The Transits
The Transits return with a very colorful alternative and pop rock banger that lets the band's personality be showcased while giving something that feels like a combination of an '80s and '90s approach mixed with a very current one which all makes the track incredibly tasteful and radio worthy.
These guys already have a great track record along with plenty of accolades for their releases but "Renegade Hearts" is a bit of a new level and it gives you an idea of how this band in particular is evolving.
The pop tones are strong with this track but so is that alternative overlay and those two features together are really done right along with melodic and poignant choruses with arousing attitude and persona.
It certainly seems like the guys had fun with this one.
"This one kinda came outta nowhere. It wasn’t planned at all, but we felt like releasing a slightly higher energy single after When you went away. We wanted something anthemic and driving. Renegade Hearts perfectly blends Punk Rock with a touch of indie. Lyrically this one hits home if you’ve ever felt outta place and haven’t really found your groove yet. It’s about celebrating your true self for all the quirks and chaos. The song is been well received and it’s joined When you went away on the South African Top 40. Pretty cool having two songs on the chart. We’ve also released a music video for Renegade Hearts which has a great visual representation of the idea." - The Transits
