Whitney Waz And TechTonic Team Up for A Massive Remix

One of the latest endeavors coming from Grand Alliance music is an incredibly driving and hyper-infused techno and electronica banger that serves as a remix for a track called "I've Already Died" from Whitney Waz and the beauty of this track is the multitude of electronic approaches that it takes on throughout its course courtesy of TechTonic.
"I've Already Died (TechTonic Remix)" feels a little Relentless but in a good way. It brings out that high-speed, almost jungle/breakbeat approach but also breaks into all this other stuff and ends up blending in synth and even dubstep.
The way he took Whitney's vocals and bent them at his free will is absolutely outstanding because, at times, it helps these climactic builds hit super hard.
This track is ever-changing in a sense. There's always something new around the next corner, and it somehow intensifies the form of the track with each of those changes.
Again, this classic sort of jungle and breakbeat approach is super fast and just gives the song a high octane energy level that becomes infectious.
It's really well built and put together, especially the parts that break down into halftime-style beads, and you can focus more on Whitney's vocals being smooth, expansive, and spacious.
The elements of having the high octane and harder hitting beats and synths on the upfront, along with Whitney's vocals being balanced and flowing throughout the track, is something special.
It blends the color and edginess extremely well and helps the song Breathe.
Her vocals are super vast and almost wild. They call out and hold notes for an extensive period of time, layering these gorgeous and distant melodies throughout the song.
All that dynamic balance was very well thought out, and I think it takes a special ear to build a song of this nature.
It has synth pads right from the beginning, so you have that spaciousness from the music as well. It breaks out into all this amazing synth and key work with tones that blend this neo-classical and vintage underbelly that gives you little hints of stuff you might have heard in the late 90s.
I love this because I can hear a little bit of trance and EDM in the mix.
This was extremely eclectic for one track. It runs the gambit of hitting all these different electronic subgenres.
You can tell this must have been a really fun track to put together, and TechTonic certainly does Whitney Waz Justice by letting her vocals come through almost like an instrument themselves.
It's almost like he looked at her vocals like a synth line. They feel almost like something that would be played on a violin or a cello if it was all natural instrumentation.
As it gets towards the end of the track, you can hear how it builds up and breaks back down. All the layers involved in creating a song like this are crazy.
A lot is going on, and it can engulf you in a good way.
This is also coming from someone who knows exactly how to build a song, hit climactic sections, and exhale back down by breaking down the track again instrument by instrument and leaving off with just a few things towards the end.
It calms things back down and reminds you of the spaciousness and vastness of the song.
This was gorgeous, and I love the hard-hitting and Beauty elements of it all.
It's got its own aesthetic and really is something you should check out, especially if you love any of these electronic genres.
Grand Alliance Music is a label that certainly knows exactly how to release expansive music. It's almost always surprising, bends the mind a little bit, and makes you think a little, and most of the songs are the kind of tracks and records you want to listen to more than once.
This was a very memorable and driving track that brought together some of the best elements of electronic music and put this natural flow to it all.
Definitely check this one out because it's more than worth your time.
