A Rock Soiree From Whoop
In a new release from Whoops, the band showcases their witty character and fuzz tone soundscapes with a pop Banger that grabs your attention from across the room.
"Cherry Cola" is endless fun and puts out such energy that you end up finding yourself allured by the band.
The track has this amazing live feel to it as if the players are feeding off each other's energies the entire time and that says something for these guys right off the bat.
Maybe the song was actually recorded live on the floor but who can be sure really.
Either way, the song makes you want to see them live in your face because if the energy is anything like the recording then it's going to be awesome.
This is something that you turn up loud and the great thing about it is that you find yourself playing it on repeat a few times or more even, because you want to catch all the lyrics in there.
An absolute soiree of a single, this track powers through with tons of youthful drive and does an outstanding job of displaying its well-built but loose style.
The song is an absolutely great time from beginning to end and when's the last time that you heard a song that was that much fun?
Maybe "No Sleep till Brooklyn"?
This is certainly a band to keep an eye on because I feel like the summer is coming and there's going to be more coming from them or, at least I really hope so because this song is pretty addictive and I like to hear more from the likes of them.
From the guitar tones to the drumming, the vocals and everything in between, this whole thing is a bit of a powerhouse and it hits just right.
Any kind of a fan of garage rock, indie rock, hard rock, or even punk rock would probably love this song.
So turn this up.
