TSWS: Hi William! Thanks for being here!
How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
William: It’s much easier to connect with fans from all over the world.
TSWS: What made you want to become a musician?
William: I’ve played piano since first grade, have always been involved in school choirs, and am constantly in awe of the ability of music to connect with others. Other people can relate, they’ve felt/feel what you’re feeling
TSWS: How would you describe the music you create?
William: It’s either motivational or emotional—or both :)
TSWS: What draws you to your preferred genre?
William: The universal connection of pop music is so amazing to me. Say what you want in those verses, but everyone can relate to those choruses. And seeing the impact of that genre on fans from all walks of life.
TSWS: Based on the theme of your new single, "One Foot" how would you explain to others how they can put one foot in front of the other?
William: Your goals are not insurmountable—keep going, keep doing, even if it’s one step at a time. Just put one foot in front of the other.
TSWS: What has been your best "pinch me" moment?
William: Getting a co-write (“Run” - Lauren Light) placed on Marvel’s Runaways.
TSWS: Do you have a go-to karaoke song?
William: Old Town Road :) If I did an Idol/Voice audition it would be “Who’s Loving You"
