AN HONEST AND BEAUTIFUL NEW SINGLE FROM XOLEX

A new single release from XOLEX delves into a rare breed of honesty that hits with a certain kind of warmth but also pulls with a little realness because the track comes from a very personal place and I feel like a song of this nature would be hard to write and release or even cathartic to an extent.
"Rebel Child" is a pop piano ballad of sorts and it comes through with a very heavy emotional drive that can indeed pull at your heartstrings at any given moment and while you listen to the song unfold you can absolutely tell that this is 100% authentic. This song came from someplace real and she is giving a piece of herself on the track.
Being able to write a song about your parents, your grandmother, your father, and how you come into play. How you came into the family and became a rebel child is incredible. Almost apologetic in a way but it's not. It talks about how she just wants to make everyone proud and having that Wild Streak is just part of her personality.
Beneath the wildness is a wholehearted person who thinks about how her actions affected everybody and this song is a sort of love letter to those people. Her parents and her grandmother especially.
The track was dedicated to her grandmother which makes it even more warming and pulls at those heartstrings the hardest but, it's also incredibly beautiful and I find it alluring to listen to a song with this level of honesty.
Her vocals are absolutely gorgeous and performed with a lot of soul and a lot of passion and the piano performance is outstanding as well. Between those two things alone this song really puts you in the moment and for a song to take you out of wherever you are and put you in a different moment is amazing.
You go through some of her memories and her thoughts, her feelings and her emotions, and it all comes into play throughout the track.
The chorus is outstanding and really just sticks with you for so long after the song has ended that it's unbelievable.
The song boasts a sort of crossover between a mainstream pop ballad and an Americana one because that southern soul is there throughout the entire song and I feel like that's part of where the whole family concept comes into play as well. That aspect is very strong with this track of course.
Rebel child or not, family is important to her and that's why this song exists. To be able to express that sort of gratitude. The song has a very unique way of being so straightforward because it keeps to her personality and her character as she does it.
This song certainly does have a lot of character embedded in it and I feel like that's one of the aspects that you really just grab onto and hold tight.
That personality is so intense and so robust because she expresses both the wild side and the gratitude all in one song and I think that's probably why this song hits so hard.
This was a gorgeous song and it's very much an ode to her father and her grandmother especially, and the way she articulates her feelings and thoughts throughout the song, the way she describes her personality, and the way she expresses how she was inspired by her father, all come together throughout this intense single.
The music video that accompanies the single is one of the best ways to listen to the song for the first time because the video itself actually expresses even more of the lyrical content so that you have these amazing visuals to go along with it and it helps push that emotional value even more.
This was a heavy song. Not heavy musically of course, but heavy emotionally and I think that it affected me in a very particular way.
You should listen to this song as well and see how it affects you because I'm sure that it will.
A wonderful song from a wonderful artist, have a good listen to "Rebel Child" from XOLEX now.
