A Wonderful And Warm Release From Christine Tarquinio
A new single release from Christine Tarquinio comes through with a certain summertime crispness that is Blended with feel good lyrics and honesty that coated in a beautifully delivered contemporary pop vibe.
"You And Me" has hints of nostalgia to it but also comes through as a sort of timeless sound and Christine's vocal performance on the track feels like it's got some emotional drive behind it which all helps the songs atmosphere come together well.
This track was warm and felt good to listen to like a hug from a loved one that you haven't seen in a while and I think that's what the song is trying to portray the feeling of.
You get a little bit of classic undertones especially in the guitars and the rhythm has this great groove to it that makes it incredibly danceable as well so the combination of all these things makes for a memorable and catchy single.
There's a lot about this track that you can tell comes from some place genuine like real life experience for example and perhaps that was a lot of the actual Drive behind the song itself but it's noticeable when you hear a song that actually mean something to somebody.
For some people this will be quite relatable as well and for a lot of others it'll simply be freeing as a lot about this has a gracefulness and a lusciousness to it that make the song clean but still full-bodied and colorful.
The subtle vibrancy of her performance gives you a great understanding of her character and her presence as an artist so the song doesn't outstanding job of presenting her to first time listeners also.
This is a great welcome into summertime and as I somewhat mentioned earlier, it feels like family and it feels like something deep rooted but very positive.
If you haven't listened to Christine Tarquinio, then this will be an excellent introduction to her and her artistry.
